We aim to help people with disabilities to access and participate in activities and events outside their home. This support category covers assistance with travel and transport, as well as related expenses.

Some of the arrangements we provide at AU Cares are; assistance with getting to and from appointments, activities, or events. Assistance with planning and organising travel, such as booking flights, accommodation and transport. Assistance with using public transport, including training and support to use public transport independently.

Our Support workers will accompany the person during travel and transport to provide physical or emotional support as needed.
